Hello, reader! I am thrilled you stumbled upon this piece of my heart. I have been dreaming of this moment for as long as I can remember. I would love nothing more than to sit down to a hot cup of coffee with you and share our stories; stories of God’s faithfulness around every bend; stories that point back to the goodness of God. But, meeting like this will just have to suffice. It is a gift, nonetheless. When I am walking through a valley, the last thing I consider is how my situation is going to impact the lives of those around me. Usually, my knees can be found firmly planted on the floor, tear stained cheeks, and the whisper of persistent, hopeful prayers filling the room. It isn’t until I’m visited by hindsight that I begin looking for opportunities to share my story, my testimony, about how God met me in my need, walked me through it, and remained victorious. I cannot tell you how many times my stories have been met by a weary hearted soul who needed to know they weren’t alone, that God still cares, and that miracles still happen. Sharing my testimony gave them courage to keep praying, keep fighting for the victory and keep trusting that God is good. By God’s grace, and through a series of unexpected events, I came across seven talented women in my Hope*Writers community who shared the same passion to see the transformative stories of their lives bring glory to God, and hope to another, and so our journey began. Each piece of this devotional has been prayed over. It is my sincere hope that in the pages of this book, you find the hope, encouragement, or miracle you are praying for.
